#1 Importing HW sample set on GrandOrgue, is possible?
ah

Good morning.
I am thinking of building another english organ for my physis, and i would need to hear some hauptwerk samples for comparison

I found this Harrison organ, which also offers a trial version (few registers, but those are what I need for a comparison, especially principals).

https://www.audioangelorum.com/PeterboroughHill_Info.asp

I have tried to install Hauptwerk 7 on my notebook, but unfortunately I am afraid it is not compatible (probably due to minimal hardware or perhaps software).

I would like to install a lower trial version, such as Hauptwerk 4 or 5, but it seems impossible to find online.
I was wondering, is it possible to import a sample set for hauptwerk 4 or 5 on Grandorgue?

Clearly I'm not going to buy a new pc just to use hauptwerk 7 for a few minutes; is there a possibility to load this sample set in a minimal configuration?

Thanks for your help

Hallo ahlborn,

Ok this morning I was able to play the Harrison sample set free trial with HW7, and it was very useful.

This sample set is also available complete for a 14-day license; I am serious about purchasing a two week license to have all the stops available.

My notebook only has 4 Gb ram, and I was wondering if I could only load a few stops at a time. It's possible?

In

... and just for information: When you cut down the reverb tail and use only the necessary parts of a sample )have a look at the screenshot in the attachment) you can safe even more memory. I don't own this very sample set, but I reckon you should be able to load more than half of the ranks at once in 4GB.

Perfect, thank you all!
The last time I worked with HW it was in version 4, and a lot of time has passed since then.
