Hmmm...I have read cautions to those wanting to learn improvisation to beware of some of the Dutch improvisation style as some approaches "theatre/cinema style" as in the following (from the Mander forum):
"If you have time, search the Dutch repertoire. Improvisations (often available later as sheet music transcriptions) and variations on Psalm tunes (the Geneva Psalms) are a substantial part of any Dutch recitalist's repertoire. Some are very clearly developments of JSB's methods, and others verge on theatre organ style."
With their console style approaching cinema style, maybe Johannus is throwing wide the door to all organ styles for their commercial/non-sacred Feike Asma Hall--they surely need a couple of other samplesets for the organ beyond ones from the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam and the Bovenkerk in Kampen. Maybe a synergistic collaboration with Disney to create a sampleset of their "spectacular 4/37 Wurlitzer with four keyboards" used at the El Capitan Theatre on the storied Sunset Boulevard.

Also mir gefällt die viele Arbeit, die sie sich mit diesem Gehäuse machen. Es muss ja auch ein echter Hingucker werden - da, wo sie stehen wird...
Das Gehäuse wird sicher das ziemliche Gegenteil von "Trend-Gehäuse in Laminatausführung"...

In 2:43 legen die Johannus-Leute eine schöne, historisch anmutende Manubrie auf den Tisch. In den neuen Spieltisch hat es dieses Design nicht geschafft. Wahrscheinlich waren die zierlichen Zugriegel aus Plastik (?) dann doch die bessere Wahl.*

* Sieht aber beinahe so aus, als hätte man keine Kosten und Mühen gescheut und die Züge doch aus Holz gedrechselt.
